The preparation for this rally hasn't been going to well. 5th gear in the mighty Corolla has gone completely and the hope of getting some sponsors to help out with tyre costs after our success at the last rally has been a no show. So we head into the Rally NZ round with old tyres, no 5th gear and still no LSD.

 

It should be a good event though, and we are looking forward to seeing how much faster the national championship guys are and comparing times. The Corolla is going to be slightly lighter as we remove the sound deadening material, and hopefully slightly faster with a cold airbox in.

We have a full day of recce the day before the rally which will be a bit of an experience for the team.
